anyways...

So christmas is on its way! and between the projects i started last christmas and the ones i started yesterday...im thinking i should be able to have a successful awesomely handmade christmas! so i have been inspired by all things vintage and here is a little bit of what i have completed so far...not much at the moment but as christmas gets closer im sure ill have more to share :D


so once i pull it together this is going to be on a purse i am making...i would have finished aready had i not lost my fabric intended for the lining heh

ARE WE NOT MEN? WE ARE DEVO!!

so its been forever! and i dont have much to say, just a couple pictures of this little Devo hoodie i put together for my adorable nephew. the photo quality isnt great since i forgot to take pics and had my sister in law get a couple for me but enjoy anyway!

it is embroidered and more centered than it looks.

And this is obviously the front except the devo pins are behind the pumpkind...He is posing as green goblin...he has a slight obsession with monsters and making crazy faces...

i have no crafts today...

but i do have a little clip of awesome owings-ness from 4th of july which is awesome...and worthy of any website...

I love these little machines! I aquired two of them from my grandmothers and the last one belonged to me obvious by the rough condition. It was very well loved, although I dont ever reacall REALLY sewing with it. I think my mother knew better than to let me have hold of something like that haha. Anyways I just wanted to post them since I had nothing to show off just yet :D.

Well Hello :)

So I have been somewhat inspired by Miss SugarPickle to start a blog although i probably won't be too great at keeping up with it since I am such a procrastinator but I guess its a start! I enjoy the finer things in life....like dollar bin fabric, button bins, beads, bad jokes, thread, sarcasm, paint, yarn, dollar tree, pretty paper, pictures, men, and jim beam....so it always makes for a good time and when im not being lazy-lazy, or messing with (and sucking at) my new found hobby, I might create something awesome...usually a little on the wonky side but awesome none the less!

This is a little guy we like to call turbo...its my sister dog...at least thats what i told her.
